Alfaias from Barravento sound great and look great! These wood and goat skin drums have beautiful earthy.
The shell is dark brown with lighter color racing stripes.
These drums are rope tuned and arrive at your door untuned to protect the heads during shipping.
Alfaias are played with two different sized wooden mallets. They are also made by Mestre Maureliano at Barravento. These mallets fit nicely in the hand and are flared a little at the bottom to make them easier to grip.
Alfaias can be worn with a shoulder strap like these Macapart V straps.
