These sticks are a little shorter than most drum sticks that you can purchase in the US. They are made of marfim wood and are the most common caixa em baixo stick you'll see played in Rio's samba schools.
These lighter color marfim sticks are also lighter weight than the darker version made of denser wood.
Caixa sticks sold as a pair 14 3/4 inches long these sticks are the same that are used in Rio's top samba schools.
