This instrument is new to many North Americans. Plays a similar patterns and flip style as a tamborims but they also have a "rocking" groove. This instrument is L.A.F.!!! The overall effect adds a nice metallic clatter to your bateria.

There is no forgiveness with a frigideira. It is LOUD and will cut through the bateria.
